The MK foundation

The MK Foundation is the non-profit started by Mera Kitchen Collective. We are fiscally sponsored by the Maryland Philanthropy Network, and we accept tax-deductible donations. As of October 2022, we have cooked and served over 180,000 free meals for our neighbors in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your donations will ensure we can continue our community meal commitment beyond the pandemic, as we work to address food insecurity, provide meaningful employment and re-imagine our relationship to food systems and the hospitality industry. The MK Foundation is a separate entity from the Mera Kitchen Collective, our for-profit cooperative business.
